December 6th, 2007The Recruiting Officer Cyclorama
Ros has produced the background image for the stage design for The Recruiting Officer running at the Abbey Theatre until January the 26th. Designed by Ferdia Murphy, the brief was to produce a wild, open landscape, in which the set would gradually appear to inhabit.
November 29th, 2007Living Bridge, University of Limerick
The newly opened Living Bridge, designed by Wilkinson Eyre Architects for the University of Limerick. It spans the Shannon’s flood plain, providing a pedestrian link to the far reaches of the ever expanding campus. Ros was commissioned to photograph the bridge before the Winter sets in.
November 13th, 2007Auction Hall Killybegs
Designed by renowned Donegal architect Liam McCormick, it has been a feature of Killybegs Port since 1979. Ros was commissioned to photograph the building for the forthcoming book, North By North West - The Life and Work of Liam McCormick, edited by Paul Larmour and Shane O'Toole and published by Gandon Editions for the Irish Architectural Archive and the Irish Architecture Foundation (due February 2008).
