About

I am based in Dublin City and work all over the country. I enjoy talking with my clients and working out what I can best bring to a project. I am primarily a photographer, but having come from a design background, I am always keen to mix in other approaches or disciplines to my practice.

I graduated from DIT Architecture in 1996 and hold it still as the genesis of my approach to work. Even though most of my work is done on computers, I am always keen to make things with my hands, from 3d studio backgrounds to unique prints and mountings. My clients range from architects to visual artists, choreographers and theatre practitioners, as well as design studios and large corporations. Some of my related work over the last number of years has been as chair of the board of the Gallery of Photography Ireland and also as a lecturer and co-ordinator of the design studies course in DIT.

Services

My main offer is documentary. I record your work, whether it is a building, a performance, a design, an installation or an individual piece of art. For this I use photography or video. I collaborate with artists to help them produce their work. A large part of my work is creating images specifically for publicity or marketing. I maintain an archive of arts photography which is 15 years old at this point. I also provide architectural images to international photo libraries to widen the exposure of any projects I photograph.

I have been commissioned to produce image collections and exhibitions for organisations wishing to reveal their scope to a wider audience. In many cases, from an initial meeting with a client, I have directed, run and delivered the project in-house and with my own resources.
